Malloy, Chris - Z-Tones

Chris Malloy's Z-Tones for Viola and CD.

Z-Tones was premiered by Mary Ruth Ray at the Boston CyberArts Festival in May 2003.

Every sound on the CD was derived from a recording of thesolo viola, mostly played by Julianna Lin, sometimes played by Hilary Zipper, or myself. The recording was made in Slosberg Recital Hall at Brandeis University, with the assistance of Chris Roppolo, Carolyn Davies and Sam Nichols.- Chris Malloy
