Bauckholt, Carola - Implicit Knowledge

Carola Bauckholt's Implicit Knowledge is a 17-minute work for ensemble and samples. The concept of "implicit knowledge" goes back to the natural scientist and philosopher Michael Polanyi. "We know more than we are able to say", he wrote. The ambivalence of sounds is redefined in this work by Carola Bauckholt. Implicit Knowledge was premiered on 18 October 2020 by Musikfabrik under the direction of Mariano Chiacchiarini at Philharmonie Köln.
