The cycle of six clarinet duets by Jiri Teml (born 1935) draws its inspiration from folk tunes. Although the cycle has a subtitle of easy pieces for two clarinets , it is intended rather for intermediate players than for complete beginners. The premiere of this composition took place in Prague in 1999.
